Pie ANNIE'S VOICE IS ENCHANTING.

She could sing the phone book and I'd unhesitatingly pay whatever the asking price to hear it. Sadly, as I lived on a ship for three years, then in Australia for five, I missed the chance to see Renaissance perform live :(

DiscConnected Somehow in my 35 years in Philly I never saw Annie perform live, but was finally rewarded with two performances on last year's Cruise To The Edge. Why do I love this album? Annie's voice!

Paul Kevin Smith I've had this on CD since it first came out, but just learned that there's a DVD version. When I ordered that I got the digital link also. The recording has great performances by one of the all-time best progressive rock vocalists!

The show was recorded at Sonic Studios in Philadelphia with a small intimate crowd of fans in attendance. We had so much fun and interaction with the fans and I even used my video camera (Haslam-Cam) the whole experience was exhilarating.

My band, Rave Tesar, Davd Biglin and Joe Goldberger played flawlessly and sounding more like 6 than 3 musicians. The music we performed was a mixture of my solo work and Renaissance, each song having the audience singing along."

ANNIE HASLAM isn't the same songbird extraordinaire at 70+ that she was 47 (!) years ago, but (BUT!) her 21st Century voice - as evidenced here - is STILL positively RAPTUROUS (!)... and today's throwaway pop singers with only one name would slit their own throats if they were ever to hear Annie sing "Ashes are Burning."
